About us:

Little Church in the Valley exists to proclaim God’s good news: The Love of Christ in His death, burial and resurrection to eternity for us, that one day we will spend eternity with Him forever as His own.

What we believe:

We Believe in those fundamental principles of Christianity set forth in the Holy Bible as the inspired, infallible and inerrant Word of God. It is our complete and final authority, trustworthy source for faith and practice.

2 timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 2:15

THESE FUNDAMENTAL, BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES INCLUDE:

The Trinity of the only true God, who exists eternally as an infinite personal God who created all things, who loves and cares for us, and who hears and answers our prayers. Gen 1:26; 2 Cor 13:24; Deut 6:4-5; John 1:1-3; Rev 1:8; John 3:16; John 14:13-14

The Deity of His only Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless exemplary life, died on the Cross, was buried, resurrected, and then ascended to heaven where He intercedes for us at the right hand of God the Father. John 1:1-5; Heb 1:1-3; Col 1:15-17; Is 7: 14; Matt 1:21; 2 Cor 5:21; 1 Pet 2:21-24; 1 Cor 15:3-4; Mark 16:19; Heb 4: 14-16

The sinful nature of man, who is unable to reconcile himself to God, and therefore must accept through faith God’s only provision for his salvation, the atoning blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Rom 3:9-11, 23-28; Rom 10:9-13; John 1:12; john 3: 14-18, 36

The Regeneration of each Person thus saved being indwelt by the Holy Spirit, Who Blesses him with power and conviction and who brings peace between God and man, gives joy, peace and promise of eternal life. 1 Pet 1:18-23; John 14:15-17, 26-27; John 15:11; John 16:7-11, 13; Rom 8:9, 14-17

That the church consists of all who accept by faith Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Matt 16:18; Eph 1:22-23; Hebrews 3:23-24; 1 Pet 2:9-10

That Believers Baptism is a demonstration of new life in Christ and ones commitment to following Christ, obedience and discipleship in His Word, living and displaying a godly life towards our neighbors. Acts 2:38; Rom 6:1-14; Gal 3:27; 1 Pet 3:21

Baptism is always done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as commanded by Christ in the Great Commission. Matt 28:19-20; 1 Cor 1:13-15

That as a local Body of Believers, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are able to demonstrate unity in evangelization and edification to the Glory of God. Matt 28:18-20; Eph 4: 11-16; Acts 1:8

The Blessed Hope and Personal Return of Jesus Christ to receive His own to eternal joy in Heaven and to commit Satan and His followers to eternal punishment in Hell. John 5:22-24; Acts 1:8-11; 1 Thess 4:13-18; Titus 2: 13-14; 1 John 2:28; Heb 9: 27-28; Rev 20: 11-15
